Carboneg - AgroInnovation at the ReAGRO 2025 International Conference
The Carboneg - AgroInnovation team attended the ReAGRO 2025 international conference https://no-tiller.com/lp/reagro/ , which took place on February 6 in Kyiv. This event brought together leading farmers, experts, and entrepreneurs to discuss pressing issues related to minimum tillage technologies and regenerative farming.

Key Topics of the Conference
The ReAGRO 2025 program was rich and informative. The main topics discussed included:
The impact of no-till on soil structure – how to minimize compaction and improve water balance.
Economic efficiency – how to reduce land cultivation costs and increase yields.
Fighting global warming – how no-till technology helps reduce CO₂ emissions and retain organic carbon in the soil.
Real-life success stories – experiences of farmers who have already adopted this technology.
Carboneg’s Observations
Carboneg conducted soil sampling across 100,000 hectares in Ukraine and did not detect any soil compaction in fields using no-till. This is a crucial factor in sustainable agriculture.
Today, regenerative farming represents a step toward modern technologies, promoting humus (organic carbon CO₂) accumulation, soil structure preservation, and moisture retention.
Impressions from the Conference
Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with leading farm owners, agronomists, and scientists who shared their research and practical experience. A particular highlight was the presentations on adapting no-till to different climatic conditions and soil types.
Why No-Till or Mini-Till is the Future
No-till is not just a soil cultivation method but a comprehensive approach that allows farmers to:
Reduce soil erosion and compaction;
Increase organic matter levels and improve water balance;
Cut fuel and fertilizer usage;
Achieve more stable yields, even in dry conditions.
Conclusions
Attending ReAGRO 2025 reaffirmed that minimum tillage is not just a trend but a real opportunity for sustainable farming development. We are grateful to the organizers for an excellent event and look forward to future meetings and new opportunities for implementing innovative agricultural technologies.
